It appears that both the oldest admittees share some of the same, both called Russell, both come from New Zealand, both work in the rental industry and both will be running next year.

At 57 feel fortunate that SPF offered a relatively affordable 40 replica, so just ordered one. When Safir ended their run in the 80's I thought a continuation series 40 would never recur. Glad to see gt40 interest increasing. Have owned various race cars, but a V8 gt40 has got to be the ultimate.
Another similarity..... both doing scratchbuilts.
