Differences between GTDs and KVAs

I have been offered an unbuilt KVA kit with a C type chassis. Does this differ much from the GTD (which I would much prefer) I know it's an older design. I think the rear looks almost identical, but the front of the chassis is quite different. Is it feasable to cut off the front of the KVA chassis and graft on a GTD front section?

You might want to speak to Wealden Engineering (Frank) about this. He recently talked me through the various options when it comes to chassis.
