Does anyone have photographs of any Alan Mann cars? I am after pictures of MkI GT40s with the rear snorkles. Thank you.

I just took delivery of two books: The Ford that beat Ferrari and a Racing History of the GT40. Lots of pictures, I am sure I can find some. looking over them briefly I noticed that most of the snorkles are on MkII's. It will be fun to look for them on I's.MartinGough said:

Do a Google image search for Fran Kress's P1054, he has snorkels on the Mk I tail of his car.

Thanks everyone. Keep the pictures coming I need them for my next project.
The pic from Chris is very interesting. I was just reading that the next step planned for the Alan Mann light weight cars was to add the sleek Mirage bodies. The Mirages were eventuallly built as their own cars but was the front section squared-off, like a pre-Mirage chassis. I can't tell from the pic. Others may have better information on this.
