I am currently doing some research on the spec of 1015 when it raced at Le Mans in 1966 (#1).
Specifically at present I am trying to pin down the correct paint colours. I understand that the fleet of GT40s were painted in colours from the Mustang range at this event and wondered if anyone can confirm that the colour used on 1015 was "Skylight Blue". If this was not the case does anyone know the actual colour used?
Also from looking at various books it appears that front and rear chassis sections were painted dark blue. Does anyone know if this extended to the whole chassis or was the main part of the monocoque black?

Dave....My research indicates "Arcadian Blue"....also my understanding was that entire tub was the dark blue.....Steve |

my painter did this for me back in 2003 for the Goodwood display it passed close inspection
