"MG TD that had a Ford 390 V-8"?
Do you have any photos of the TD? That sounds like it was an interesting car. How hard was it to keep it under control? |

I will try to reproduce some of the 54 MG TD photos and post them.
It won 3 Best of Shows, would lift the front wheels on the strip and was a blast to drive. I had to widen the rear body to take in the 16" wide wheels and had to leave the side flaps off the engine hood as the valve covers etc were too wide. Tended to give it away.

The GT40 is very fast. The engine starts at the touch and is very responsive. Just came back from a trip with the Cobras and it travels really smoothly.
I am presently restoring a 29 Model A closed cab Ford truck nut and bolt restoration - just to check the other end of the line.
Square nuts and all.

The Dart 427 (by World Products) is a 351W based small block.
