aluminum body 40GT

I have an all aluminum version of Kirkhams all copper 40GT built for SEMA in 2005. I only have the body and I am looking for opinions on everything (chassis, transaxle, motor etc.).

Re: aluminum body 40GT

Bradley,

I know Kirkham used a modified Cobra chassis for the Willys coupes that they built, what did they use on the copper 40gt? I would think your best bet would be to use something similar to what they used unless you want to install the engine in the front.

Re: aluminum body 40GT

The "40 GT" was built on a new Ford GT chassis...not a lot of those laying around! You could buy a bent GT.
