Jim,
You are correct, the rear calipers are Corvette with integral parking brakes, but the lever that fits by the rocker panel(LHD) is Fiero.....pull up handle to set the brake with an internal ratchet mechanism in the handle base....then the handle drops back down to the floor level so it isn't standing there to catch you leg as you get out.

Does any of the GT40 replica Manufacturers provide an option of getting the quick release door handles fitted unique to the Gulf cars? I have only seen one replica with this feature and it was hand done. Or is this not a cost effective option for the manufacturers?
