Any info on Southern GT

Someone suggested I should also include Southern GT in my research. Does anyone overhere have any experience with Southern GT (don't mind pm)?

I think you'll find Mick Sollis a very knowlegable chap, his chassis are first rate.

Contact Martin Gough through this forum (click on his name in the build thread to email him). His car is Southern GT No8 and is in the Manchester area.
Also talk to Mick Sollis who builds the cars. Mick now has his owm Southern GT up and running. He is based in Southampton on the south coast of UK which is a main port and hence very easy to get to from the continent. The car is excellent and Mick is very capable and helpful. The car has very many good points and can be supplied with an MSA approved roll cage which you can see on Martin's car No 8. I have looked in detail at both Mick's and Martin's cars and will be building one myself when I finish my GTD!

At the moment I am having my holiday and I am hoping to visit Southern GT, MDA and the RCR dealer soon to get a good idea. Having read his website I am not sure if Southern GT will only supply or also build cars. I am not so sure about doing the body myself. I understand Fran and Mark can do the bodywork for me.

I have a southern GT, (006) mick is incredibly helpful, and builds almost everything on site....frame, tanks, suspension, exhausts, replica oilpans etc.
He also owns a sheet metal fabricating company, so the southern GT is not his only business.
He will do as much or as little as you need regarding the build
