Ford GT/Maserati V8

Hi,

Just entered this site looking for information on the following car, which I in 2005 at the Pebble Beach Historic Tour. It is a yellow GT40, with California License plate MAS GT40. In stead of the normal US pushrod V8, it sported a twincam Maserati V8 (Ghibli/Bora?) I suppose it is a replica, but does anybody know more? I did do a search on Maserati but nothing relevant turned up.

I got a number of pics of the car in case somebody is interested.

Thanks

Pieter

PS On another note, is there somewhere a list of all chassis made, and their current whereabouts? I am trying to organise my archives according to chassis numbers and I have quite a lot of cars currently racing which I cannot properly allocate.

Re: Ford GT/Maserati V8

I've seen the car. Very nice CAV with a Mazerati V8. It was at The Father's Day Classic at California Lutheran College about 3 years ago. I may have a pic.
