There were some great cars out on the track on the weekend in Melbourne at Sandown Racecourse. Enjoy the photos.

I was there too Bill. Saw the 40 below. Cannot wait for my RCR 40 to arrive + build time! Planning it to mostly be a track car but registered.

Wow, thanks for posting! I saw the F40 first and started drooling. THen the 250GTO came up and I think I shorted out my keyboard. Must have been a fantastic day.

The 40 was there on Sunday only. Spoke to the owner, was not the builder.

I'm surprised that noone has commented on the black Aston Martin Zagato recreation, it is a classy looking car and is based on a DBS Aston. They are custom made to order and will only set you back about $350k AUS.

Overall, was a great place to be last weekend, shows the growing popularity of historic events within Australia isn't slowing down....

Just thought I would add the link Classic Cars Parts Melbourne Australia www.brooklands.com Saw this recreation advertised in a UK magazine and thought it looked fantastic, the DB4 GT Zagato is probably one of the most beautiful of the "proper" GT Cars. Didn't know the price though!

I suspect that the second GTO lacks the provenance of the first!
