Rep Power: 7 | Need a ride OK, I have been mostly lurking for a few years. I have been very close to pulling the trigger in the past, and I still am. During that time, I have had the opportunity to own a few neat cars and drive many others. I have had a couple of stumbling blocks, but I have progressively gotten over most of them. I have sat in two stationary CAVs, and a SPF M1 - the cabin is good. All I need now is a ride in one. Let's face it, this is not a small endeavor. I just want to be sure the finished product is what I think it is going to be. I am pretty set on an RCR, and I would love to see a completed one in person (I think I can count them on one hand...), but the differences between the manufacturers are small enough that just about anything will do!
I am in VA, but I will do what I need to get to anyone that is willing to help out a fellow nut, including fly. I bought a ticket last year to go to tour RCR other things came up. That means that I've paid for the ticket and have to use it... Anyone want to throw me a bone? |

Rep Power: 11 | Re: Need a ride If my CAV were on the road you would be welcome to come here and drive it. I might suggest calling Dennis Olthoff and see if if he has a car you can test. He is a very nice guy and knows these cars inside and out. I have driven a SPF and it is a very nice car. My CAV seemed to have a little more room but the SPF was very well finished.

If you decide to go visit RCR, let me know, I am about 45mins away and you are welcome to stop on by. Car is not completed yet, but she's 90some percent. Fit/finish and quality of product is certainly observable. |
