where to find the "small shocks" for the nose/tail pieces?

Hi CB

I assume you are looking for Gas Struts to hold open the front and rear clips.

These are available in a multitude of sizes and pressures.

Can be sourced from either wrecking yards, Ebay, or look up Gas Strut manufacturers.

Where are you? US? UK? Aus? Online is easy, if you're in the states, I got mine at a Checkers. Any parts store should have a stock of them.
