Re: Look here!

Top stuff. He has a very interesting and thorough way of doing things. Well worth a good long check out. He really thinks about the way things work and uses the theory to make up some very cost effective mods to the car. Just the kind of guy you would like to have living round the corner. Lots of interesting facts about chassis stiffness, cornering g and stopping g. An idea I like is the idea of a see through filter box. I have a big chrome filter on top of the holley on my car which really blocks the rear view so a see through box would be very useful to see those flashing blue lights behind! Also if you have have a nice set of webers or injection trumpets to show off then most ways of doing filters spoils the view. Could look really good with a bit of development for a GT40. Pic attached.
Cheers
Mike

Re: Look here!

Goran & Hemipanter are both registered (seperate) members on GT40's.com, so looks like they are two individual people. Both have made posts- one from 03/23/04-05/14/08, other from 01/09/04-03/26/07.

Re: Look here!

Hemipanter is Goran Malmberg. Not to be confused with Goran
Olsson of GOX.

Re: Look here!

Goran Malmberg is working on a new book that will be very useful to the "common man" for making modifications to your chassis to improve handling as well as aerodynamic improvements. I'm attempting to help Goran complete the translation to English(God help us and my spelling). No comments Kirby. As MikeP states, his site if full of very interesting and in-depth analysis of vehicle dynamics and I recommend spending some time there. Do not hesitate sending Goran questions, he is very helpful and full of knowledge.
