Chris Melia and myself took the car down to the event in a trailer .
I believe another 52 GT40's also attended .
Great weekend had by all , as far as i could see .
What a thrill on the saturday , when we took it around the track .
We sat behind Charles Hero's 40 , from which his son was filming .
So come on Charles and anyone else who took footage of the laps,
get it posted please .
A selection of photos i took :
Here are a few more pics from the event to keep you going. The video that Charles Herd took with his forward and rear facing cameras will not be available for a few days as he is still on holiday in France. Martin Gough has some video (of the "parade!" laps) taken from my car which will be available as soon as we have edited out all the many expletives! I still have a permanent grin on my face.
Cheers
Mike

You Brit's know how to have fun, we are definetly shipping our car over in 2010 and I have a few friends who may be joining us as well.
How far in advance do we need to make arrangements to participate in this event?
And who do I contact?
Thanks, Dave

The dates are normally set about 1 year in advance
At that point it is time to get your booking in for a Ferry and Hotels
For the Track laps you'll need to join the GT40 Enthusiasts's club as they organised this with the ACO (French Race organisation)
Look in the GT40 Enthusiasts Club Section for a long thread on this year's event
