Q&A

Will any oil pan (front or rear sump) fit or do i need a custom pan.
Sorry if this is a silly question. I just want to button up my motor and only want to do it once.:worried:

If you expect to do any track sessions then make sure whatever you get is a fully baffled pan with traps so the pick up doesn't run dry on the tight corners.

Both Aviaid and Armando (Armando use to work for Aviaid and has gone out on his own) make excellent oil pans and both offer a GT40 replica pan. I run Aviaids on both Pantera's now and speak from experience on prior oil pressure loss issue on tight corners.

Item 155-55360 is the 289/302 pan. If you have plenty of pan ground clearance you could opt for the deeper one designed for the Mangusta/Pantera which holds an additional 2 quarts.

Item #407, just as good a quality but over $100 cheaper than Aviaid.
