Post when to do a build log?

well this is a tricky one, as i havnt yet bought the kit, i am just getting the major parts together and ready. i wanted to include in my build log prices of parts and where i sourced them from etc so other futur builders *may* get a few idea's .

so should i start build log? or would it just be a waste atm?

Re: when to do a build log?

Ivan,
I always think build logs are invaluable for all people at various stages, plus the benfit is you can always update as you work. MIne didn't get touched for 8 months due to family and work pressures.

Re: when to do a build log?

Hi Ivan

as Brett says start it as soon as possible, as inspiration and ideas for others and motivation for yourself, so you can reflect on how much work you've done so far, not how far you're yet to go....

Regards
Andy

Re: when to do a build log?

Ivan,
I would recommend starting a build log as soon as you begin ordering parts. List vendors and part numbers, etc. I have found that even basic information is valuable to a newbee wishing to get started.

Good luck!

Thumbs up Re: when to do a build log?

I agree with the others, any/all information is greedily devoured by all those building/thinking of building.
