While the workers were off on a well earned break, the spy camera has picked up on a new addition in the fine DRB stable. Hmm, Wow!

Chris, there's the picture, but where are the thousand words ??

(Even a dozen or so would be ok, providing they tell us what is going on in the "skunkworks") !!

Kind Regards,

Peter D.

Re clip:-

917?

If I were feeling argumentative I'd say it looked and sounded more like a 956 to me - Derek Bell.

Basically yes ... but, it is known as the DRB 540 and is gaining popularity rapidly as an easy and affordable (kit) car to build

A Bailey Edwards 917 LM, customer car --awaiting motor and trans to be fitted.
Reportedly:- a stunning piece of kit and very good value for money apparently.
Looks like PRs dream of building someone a 400 Kph car is about to unfold:worried:

I imagine the interior to be basically '70s fashion-- steering wheel, gear shifter, pedals, some guages, tacho, seat belts. ---- No! cup holders, climate control, dynamic stability, track control, proximity sensing, velour dash, ipod, carpets or fluffy lambs wool seat trimming.
I believe the engine will be a group A spec V8 until the flat 12 arrives :lipsrsealed:

Aaah --Pete that is very you-- it would be perfect company for the Ferarri and GT40 (go on you know you want to)

Love the tie Pete, I've never seen you look so respectable..hehe

Awesome car with my favourite colour scheme!

Hi Pete, that 917 makes you look very classic and up-market! However, your Ferrari is very practical, the GT40 isn't, but is usable, however a 917 could really upset your marriage and not be much use after all. But what a car to drool over with a cool drink in hand in the evening.

Hi guys
On our recent visit to South Africa we had the pleasure of seeing the Bailey Edward's 917 both on the track and at the factory. I can say that they are made to a very high standard and are excellent value for money.

regards

Chris.
