Salt Flat Racer GT40

A little while ago, there was talk of a DRB GT40 being developed for salt flat racing. Maybe 'Project 300mph'? Does anyone know if this got off the ground? (not litterally, of course!)

I'd be very keen to hear about the aerodynamic stability (practical or theory) of our much loved shape at these significant speeds.

I think the salt flat that it was destined for is full of water, all the ingredients are there to be assembled --just got to wait for the next drought--and the "play money" box to fill up again.:embarassed: SIB.:lipsrsealed:
