New Body Design on a GT40 Replica Chassis
I've had a friend ask me in a converstation, why isn't anybody using a replica Gt40 chassis for a modern mid-engine sportscar ?

My first thought was that the cost of a replica chassis is expensive to begin with, and that maybe you could find other mid-engine chassis, for less to use on a one-off sportscar concept.

Intrigued again, by the idea of rebodying a GT40 replica chassis and just for fun of it, I've been working on a few ideas that I would like to share with you guys
Will post a few sketches soon.......

Factory Five did something like that with their GTM. Late model Corvette engine and suspension in a mid-engine car.

Nice, but it's just a Gt40 in drag, nothing more.......my idea is to work on a new design, not a reiteration of the same car, it doesn't make any sense.
