Dead Dear

On my way to Monerey last weekend I had the misfourtion of running over a dead mostly flatened dear. The GT40 doesn't like speed bumps and this was much higher then a speed bump.

Richard,

Oh, crap, that awful!

I live on Skyline, lots of dear, I always worry about hitting one, running across the road, now I have something new to worry about.

Were you able to save the missing piece to glass back in?

ouch...sorry to hear that. Looks like the front clip needs to be fixed; any other damage that can't be washed off?

I do like your temporary fix

Well, to be honest, I think Richard got away very lightly considering what could have happened. Quite light damage and I don't suppose the repairs will be very,

er,

dear... :blank:

I know this is off the topic but I've rode in a number of SPF gt40s and Richard has the quitest 40 so far (inside) and has done a great job of making it a worthy ride. My hat is off to him for almost driving non-stop (1 hour of rest) from Idaho to Monterey and then going straight to the Baha Cantina with me as a passenger. :)
