Cav 1075

Here's some pics of Angelos CAV 1075 since extensive modifications were done including conversion to right hand drive, right hand shift, single Monza cap and crossover fuel system.

I used Professor Peabodys' "Way Back Machine" to locate original pics. Angelos car was the first CAV GT40 in Canada and one of the earliest ZF equipped cars. It's been a rocket ship from day one.

It's probably worth doing a reverse build thread as almost every part of the car was massaged, upgraded or refinished.

That's Angelos new trailer by the way, super cool, one man loading, slide out deck, self leveling... wow.

Cheers

Beautiful.

I have not seen a trailer deck like that before. Any info on where to inquire about it?

Tim

Ian,

You still in the game? Been quiet out your way.

Angelos' car has a mean stance to it. He has the 4 inch flares?

He must have $250K into that thing.

Still has the 392?

Tell us more about that trailer.

Wow!!! beautiful car Angelo. Great job Ian... Hey Angelo...You might want to have a painting of that car ( and others ) I know a guy "wink wink "

Thanks guys, we had an opprtunity to put the car outside for few more pics a couple of days ago. It's really hard not to just stare at the car and loose all sense of time.

What I can say about the performance is that prior to the right had drive conversion the car was a rocketship. We shed a few pounds here and there plus did some port matching of the CAV headers to the exhaust ports so she'll be wilder now.

William, that's right it's a 392 from Ford Racing, warmed over a bit but still quite easy to drive around town. You're not far off on the money either. The flares are the optional CAV flares, not as wide as some flares we've seen fitted post 1969 though.

The ground clearance is 4.0 front, 4.25 rear. Looks great, a bit a wedge improves high speed stability too.

Rene, you'll like the rear undertray too. It has the elipitical holes at the bottom for access to the mounting bolts as per original style, we kept the perimeter of the cutouts for the transaxle as close as possible to keep it tidy.

Yes that trailer is a beauty, I'll find the contact info and at least post a link here so you can check it out.

Cheers
