8 Meters: Triumph, Tragedy and a Photo Finish at Le Mans

Hi Bill what does it say I can get pictures but not sound. I do know talking to John Allen and Ronnie Spain that all the cars were fitted with a battery powered sensor. This was activated by a sensor at the start begining of the pit lane opposite the Chronometrage Building linked to a IBM computer. When Ford GT MKII GT40P/1015 Miles number 2 and Ford GT MKII GT40P/1046 Maclaren dead heated when being recorded by this sensor the race was given to Maclaren because he was slower in practice against Miles car and thus further back on the grid thus traveling the furthest distance in 24 hours 4:00pm to 4:00pm the following day. The winner was the car that had travel furthest in 24 hours not where they finished on the circuit. By the time the photo deadheat was started across the "finishing line" the race had been decided in fact the staged dead heat picture had nothing to do with the result!!
Regards Allan
