It’s probably one of those -
“If you have to ask how much - you probably couldn’t afford it anyway!”

Interesting that the ad touts Gurney Weslake cylinder heads, but it has Gurney Eagle valve covers... I suspect they are aftermarket Windsor cylinder heads with knock-off valve covers like most of us “commoners” are used to...

It's amusing to me that neither one of the two guys that knocked this really nice ERA own a gt40 and that they both failed to recognize the Gurney heads. Way to go, guys!
I have been in contact with the seller. I know this car, watched it throughout the build process. It is one of, if not the finest build ERA has ever done. The detail is second to none. I wont mention the owner's name out of respect for his privacy... But this is truly one of those cars that was a literal no expenses spared build. Unfortunately, I am pretty car poor at the moment with an (ERA)Cobra, GT40 and an M3. My hope was to trade my GT for this, but our numbers are just to far away. If there was any way to swing it, it would be in my garage. It truly is a work of art. Those are genuine Gurney Heads BTW... Note the 10 degree cant of the webers. Magnesium wheels.... Dunlops...
All that said.... I had a long discussion with the seller debating the price of a high end ERA Chassis vs SPF. The SPF of course being the current standard for originality, IMHO... Which would you buy for pretty much the same money? Interesting debate.

They're Gurney heads, you can tell by the carb tilt and the exhaust ports.

What is the difference between the Gurney Weslake heads and Gurney Eagle Heads?
If you’re talking about me, I did not knock the car at all. The ad said one thing and the valve covers said something else.
And as far as price is concerned, what is it? I have walked away from a number of cars over my years because the owner just wanted to collect offers. Sorry, but I’m not about to play the old “How much money do you have” game. State your price and lets get on with it. The car is only worth what a buyer is willing to pay...
Maybe you should reread.
'Just sayin'...
