Headers from George

Who here has headers from George C.? Come on now, I know some of you do. Good.

Now, what are the i.d. of the primaries off the head?

I'm looking at my AFR heads, best SB heads I've ever seen and if half the posts/dynos are true about them this will be a genuine 450+hp SB. Maybe even 500, who knows.

But, the exhaust ports are 1 3/8 inches in diameter, almost square with rounded corners. What is George using to make the pipes? I'm worried about fit, these ports are somewhat on the large side.

Ron, Jay is building a stroked 351C. The headers for the 5.0's is 1 5/8th I.D. You might want to get some exhaust gskets that fit your motor and send them or the part number to George. My pipes look great. Friends mistake them for chrome.

George's headers for the 351 are 1.75" O.D.

The ports are 1.2" wide and 1.4" (roughly) high.
