New Zealand replicas

Anyone have experience with Phil Ware's New Zealand built cars? I've seen one write up by a SF Bay Area person that visited his facility and drove in the car. Anyone on the other side of the big pond?

I was strongly considerng buying one of Phil's kits, but was surprised to learn that he doesn't provide a build manual. I posted that question here previously, and all the replies said that building a GT40 without a manual could add a year or more to the build time.

Another drawback is that the brakes are Ford Granada MkII (a European Ford). Upgrades to bigger brakes would entail custom fabricating spindles to fit.

However, the price is right, so if you feel adventureous, keep us informed.
