Re: Question about 4pt harnesses

Ian,
The RF kit comes with the regular shoulder harness and seat belts similar to most production cars. However there are mounting points for the Four way harnesses welded into the frame and roll bar. You will have to purchase the harness that is best suited to you. I'm going to use Crow brand with the quick lock clasp.

Question about 4pt harnesses

Hey RF owners -

Does the RF come standard with mount points
for a 4 point harness instead of a standard
lap/shoulder belt? Or do you have to purchase
the hal/full cage?

Also, anyone order the optional cage?

Re: Question about 4pt harnesses

Don't fear a 5 point harness. Many, including myself, connect the anti-submarine strap to the seat frame. While this may not be the optimal location, it is better than not having it. Bye the way, I bought my harness from Pyrotect - Bell Motorsports. Nice harness at a reasonable price.
