After the AGM last Saturday, the club is now back up and running properly with a strong future.

A new, regular magazine is planned, together with interim newsletters etc, so memebrs will receieve information about events ( not just in the UK ) and technical articles every 6 weeks or so.

Dick Townsend has posted separatly about negotiations he his having with suppliers to get discounts for Club members. The first is with Demon Tweeks, a well know UK specialist parts supplier, so others will follow.

I would like to introduce myself as the new editor of Fortyfication, the club's quarterly magazine. I am looking for copy for my first issue that will be published in May. I am also hoping to find a regular contributor from the States and also from Australasia to keep us up to date. If you fancy the job or have anything to contribute please let me know. all club members should be receiving 'Mid Fortys', our quarterly newsletter by the end of this month.

About the Classic Le Mans trip.

At the last count 12 members ( all from Brians area ) were definatly going and the chalet that has been booked is full. This was all thought of and booked during one night in the pub!

The chalet is booked for two weeks with the cost being shared equally irrespective of how long each person stays.
Those going will make thier own travel arrangements ( ferrys etc) and come and go as they please during the two weeks.

A couple of others also want to go, and there is another chalet nearby which will take 8 people which may still be available. Eric Smith wants to go so he is looking for enough people to show an interest so he can organise this.
So, contact Eric.
