Carroll Smith to drive FR GT40 at Le Mans

It is with great pride that I can announce that the GREAT Carroll Smith will drive one of our cars in the "Parade of Pilots" through the streets of Le Mans the night before the great race.

As you all know Carroll was the engineer of the Shelby team that won Le Mans in 1966. He is a living legend in motor racing and those of you who are visiting Le Mans this year with Ken Saunders are in for a treat. The car he is driving is our MkII which is painted as per the Amon/Mc Laren car (1046) and is at present on its way to France.

I look forward to seeing many of my old friends at Le Mans this year and hopefully make many more. I just hope Carroll will let me do some of the driving !!!!!

Best wishes,

Robert

Robert,

Sounds really nice and I'll be looking for the car. What are the specs on the machine?
