GT40 replica - France

This replica is posted on USA eBay, but is located in France. One nice thing about that, for us in the US, is that it is a LHD car. It looks pretty nice, but there are no good pics of the engine. The one thing that I find a little alarming is that there are no clear pictures of the driver's (left) side of the car either. Starting price is actually pretty low at $10K; I wonder if there is a reason for this? (I know, I am too cynical, right?)

Check out the eBay posting here.

Re: GT40 replica - France

This is a repeat listing. IIRC, it went up to $34K US, which
still did not meet the reserve.

I emailed the agent for more pix - I got copies of the
same ones thumbnailed on the eBay listing.

Re: GT40 replica - France

Ebay auctions for items that are supposedly located offshore raise a big red flag for me.
