Re: Oh dear - it\'s back

You may jest about it, but i think your missing a 'gem' here.
I have it on good authority, that what your looking at, is THE original 40 prototype, post crash testing. It should be in Ford's Museum.
You lot are just soooo hardened and cynical.
I believe your just jealous, because itll go for more money than you can afford!!!
Im hoping it has a brother, so i can buy both!!!!

Re: Oh dear - it\'s back

Hey, notice the lack of a windscreen, no hot cabin.
Now why didnt Ford Motorsport adopt that feature at Le Mans???????
Imagine, teeth full of Garibaldi biscuits!!!!

Re: Oh dear - it\'s back

Good news Dave.

The locals are sad that the 40's gone. Much though I'm tempted by the car in this thread (?!), I needed a little practicality while the kids are still at home. I went for a BMW CSL with all the Batmobile trimmings. 4 seats, bootspace and even a glovebox! Luxury!

Cheers and catch up soon.
