I know some people have used these as a cheaper way to upgrade their front brakes. Looks like they have been modified to accept ventilated discs. Nothing to do with me.

Stop fairly well even without boosters
When I was digging about info I was told AP were making a new batch as they are liked by tuners & the Escort brigade
One downside is they are REALLY HEAVY!

Yes, they are really heavy.
I used those in 80`s in my rally mk2 escort. Worked well.
Better solution was Volvo 240 -series 4-pistons. Just little file for holes (1-2mm diffirence) and they`ll fit to Granada mk1-2 hub. Marginally lighter.
