I'm just replacing the rear uprights and lower arms on my SPF GT40 Mk1 (2140) to repair some accident damage dating from before I bought the car. The next part of the swapover is to remove the driveshafts from the upright which requires undoing the 36mm bolt visible deep inside the spinner thread. My question is are these handed in the same way as the spinners themselves are? I have the driver's side (RHD car) corner on my bench just waiting for me to apply suitable force, I just want to be sure before giving it "full welly". Any steer would be appreciated.

I was admiring some photos of UK-based SPF cars, when the thought suddenly struck me that the vast majority of US-market SPF GT40s are being built with left-hand drive.

Other than Jesus Pozo's beautiful Linden Green narrow-tail Mk 1 (has that car been relocated to Spain?), and the various Pathfinder GT40R track cars, I can't offhand think of any other RHD SPF GT40s?

If you have one of these rare (and in my view, infinitely more desirable) cars, sound off and share some photos!

Our friend OliveR recently had the misfortune of a distributor gear failure in P2193 which required engine removal. His initial request for help inspired me to write the R&R instructions below, which I'm hoping others will find useful.

I wrote this from memory of the same procedure with my FE/ZFQ drivetrain so the chances of my having remembered everything, and having written instructions completely suitable for the more common small-block/RBT combination, is nearly zero. So to those who have been through this, please let me know if you see anything missing or wrong.

I found out my car is painted Bright White with Indigo stripes.

I also received a very complex formula for the Bright White using Glasurit paints.

Question: is there a generic PPG code available? Not worried about the stripe color just the white.........I want to some touch ups here and there.

Thanks, Randy

The allen screw attachment needs more depth to fully seat.
