Ferrari 348 motor - front engine / RWD conversion

I am building a 348 motor to work in a front engine /rear wheel drive application.
Adapting a Ford bell housing and a Borg-Warner T5 transmission.
With the help of a friend (with a large CMM unit) I was able to measure the block and bell. I have created the CAD file for the adapter plate and I am sending that off for machining.

Other plans I will be documenting in this thread
355 crankshaft
Cylinder head work. Big valves, shim under, cams, porting
EFI with a Lancia Thema intake
etc

My mustang has arrived. Was in an exotic import place when I took the photos. It sat next to an Aston Martin v12 and a Nissan Skyline GTR34. I must say, the stance of the 69 Mustang to me resembles what any super-car resembles... a high performance profile. It looked in that building to be a car that could compete with all of them. I love the lines on it. Car has been lowered by 2" and the roof line sat lower than the skyline infront of it. I have found my dream car. High-performance profile with a Muscle look. This car is an absolute BEAST. :thumbsup:

Rear shot wife was busy talking to my cousin and I wasn't waiting. Too excited :laugh:

Will get the car on the road this week then I can get more.

Stealth fighter Ducati TT

As i run my SR500 quite successfully in the CLASSIC 500 Class of the "Grab the flag" racing series, i decided to enter the big boys class, the "CLASSIC OPEN"
Allowed are bikes over 750 CC (twins, triples and more) up to 1981. A class dominated by some fast SEGALE, BIMOTA KAWAS and EDDIE LAWSON REPLICAS, but also some fast BMW�s and YAMAHA TR1�s. The KAWAs sport up to 1260cc and to 165 HP, also some >100 HP BMW are there
As all of this bikes are much to heavy for my taste or i don�t like to engine concept i decided to built a DUCATI TT REPLICA: Target is 100 RWHP and <140KG including O�l. Thats the current status

Frame and bodywork has been built by a guy close to my place.

Airbox model has been built by myself, the actual part also by the manufacturer of the other bodyparts
Astralite racing wheels are available again, i got a set of the first production batch after more than 20 years.

Bike will be probably kept this way ( no paint at all). Kind of love that stealth fighter look and what is not on the bike can not weight anything.

first race is planned this year september
