The Oil film should keep rod and main bearings from touching when the engine is running, if they are ever "mated" you have probably lost oil pressure at some time.
Ring seal and cam shaft lobes are the only things you need to worry about on break in, everything else should be ready for action.
If anything breaks after the quicky break in, it probably would have broken any way. |
