G50 on Ebay

This is probably the one of the least smart things I have done, but if you are looking for a Porsche G50 there is one on eBay. Bidding is currently at $1500. (I am holding out for a G50/50 that I'll probably never find /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif )

You are a brave man indeed. I know of at least 4 Porsche 930 owners in the Houston area alone waiting for the 1 year g50/50 gearbox. Since most 1989 930's are garage queens, the odds of a new one becoming available are so slim but Chris Melia found a rare GT40 a few weeks ago. Stranger stuff does happen.

I am probably not as brave as you think. I already have a G50 in my car. It is presently in the paint shop and I am keeping my fingers crossed for a birthday present on the 25th of Nov. I am getting very anxious to drive it more than a 1/4 mile around my subdivision. So, anyway I do have time to watch and wait; like you said "stranger things have happened."
