I have been corresponding with the gentlemen selling the G50/52 on ebay and was just advised that he found the paperwork and that it is a SIX speed. To the best of my knowledge the G50/50 and G50/52 were FIVE speeds. Buyer beware.

I'm not certain but I thought that the later G50-52s were six speeds... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif Anyone out there know for sure?

Gentlemen advised the box is from a 1993. I don't think any of the G50/52's were six speeds.

I thought that the 6 speed version of the G50 style box was called a G64 (4wd). Otherwise I am not sure. Can he give any other codes, etc?

6spd box is a g50 20, or if it is an rs is a g50 31, 32, or 33, the awd box is the g64

Seller advises that he was mistaken and that it is indeed a five speed. Gave serial number as 002943. Still no details as to the internals other than spraybar. I do not have a book to verify numbers, but believe Bill Bayard can. Bill can you confirm what this trans is? Thanks

I can not verify based on those numbers but I can say this assuming it is a G50/52:

G50-52 - 911 Carrera---worldwide---since 1990 model - 3.6 liters 75W90 - same ratios as G50-50 - some factory LSDs

Lynn
