Genuine 15in Borrani wire wheel for the rear of an early GT40.
To the best of my knowledge, this wheel has never been fitted to (or run on) a car - it was delivered to a company here in the UK called South East Engineering in the early '60's for measuring/testing purposes - SEE manufactured the splined hubs for many cars of that era - & never collected.
I purchased the wheel some years ago (for a future project that never materialised) from the son of an employee of SEE where the wheel had remained since the '60's.
It has the inevitable (minor) marks from 40 years' storage, but is in overall excellent condition.
This size/model of Borrani wheel is no longer available from the manufacturer (or anywhere else) so this represents a unique opportunity to acquire a very rare genuine original wheel for your early GT40.
