Rep Power: 6 | Re: DRB # 49 The Laser is built by Ford and is also known as the Mazda 323. Built in 1982-1988 I think. I'll send you an email and I'll get a wiper motor sorted for you. If you need the wiring diagram for the wiper motor let me know aswell.

Rep Power: 8 | Re: DRB # 49 The Laser was a popular small front wheel drive car made by Ford. It was similar (and shared many parts with) a small Mazda sold as the Mazda 323 here in Oz. They had front wipers (obviously) and a rear wiper on the hatchback version, which was the most popular version, hence the identification of which motor it was.

You should be able to find one at your local pick a part off a Mazda 323 the same basic shape of the pics by Dave. Just checked on ebay & there are a few cars of that type for sale.

I checked USA E-Bay and there are some 323 motors for sale cheap.
None of them look like mine....but they're cheap enough so I bought
a few and hopefully one will fit/work.
Jac Mac...the breakers by me have crushed most wreaks older than 1990.
They have limited space, and their are few 1980's cars still on the road.
Hey Dave....I would like to know what you show for wiring.
The DRB schematic only showed the 12V input (yellow wire) and ground
(black wire) with the others just labeled as "wiper speed" which
doesn't really tell me anything.
As soon as I energized the yellow lead, ALL the other other leads became
energized...and I don't think that's good.
