You are correct Ron. In fact the ford EEC turns the cooling fan off at 45 mph.

Sandy,

I'm not too sure how far the water pump will protrude into the cockpit...I'll take some measurements next time I'm at home and I'll let you know something. I'll be away from home for about two weeks. I think it will be easier to make a relief for this cylinder shape than a traditional water pump pulley.

Thanks, Fran is going to do the fit anyways [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] I just don't want to get too far into the car with a bump if possible. The main thing that I want to run is the Racemate (www.racemate.com) and I think it will be a tight fit. Let me know when you get back, but please don't waste any of your time until you get to that point. I'm not in a super hurry yet since the chassis is not yet built.
