Well, I've been threatening to start my build post for some time, except I can't seem to locate a number of my early photos /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
I do have my earliest shots however, so this will get the ball rolling.....
Shots #1, 2 & 3 are of my chassis during manufacture in March-April of 2002.
Here goes.

Bill.

Well I found my next phase of photos, showing the rolling chassis unit being delivered by Robert Logan himself /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

The car was delivered to me on the 4th of June, 2002.
Here is another one with me nervously following Robert. I am one of the lucky few that lives within an hour of the RF Factory.....

And here is another with the car finally in the garage.... I think I spent the next 2 hours just staring at it, touching it, sitting in it......making car noises /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif......
Well it IS exciting when you finally get the thing home!

Hi Allan
I'll keep posting, you keep painting /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/1poke.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
I never expected it to be such a task to filter through all my photos to find the appropriate ones that tell the story. 3.5 years kinda seems to have flown by, so you can imagine the amount of photos one can accumulate in that time.
Here is a shot of my storage technique as perscribed by Robert. Overhead and out of the way for the rear clip. You may also notice the doors hanging in the background. They were stored like this for the better part of 2.5 years without any problems.

Panelling took me some time, as I had to cut the panels out of stock sheet, fold, drill etc. I think I stuffed up about a full sheet's worth of material over that time.
Once I had the majority of the sheeting in place, I couldn't resist the temptation of placing the body on.
Here are a series of rough body fit shots.

Did you like the method of support to the front clip in that last one?
Heres another but with the hinges on this time.

I'm a bit slow off the mark this week Bill. I only just caught sight of your thread. I know you have progressed significantly since you took these pics and since I can't seem to get enough of build pics keep'em coming. ... and I also second Allan's request... now how about some pics of that paintwork /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Good to hear from you mate. The colour scheme is slightly unusual, however it has its roots from the original #1061 the way it was running at Watkins Glen in 1989, not the way it appears now with it's latest owner.
My car should be getting its colour in about a weeks time, however the sills have been painted and I have a photo of my test panel that shows the scheme. The dark colour on the panel is a metallic pearl and changes colour in different light.

Here is a photo of the sill panel taken a couple of weeks ago. You can see what happens when the sun hits it. In the shade it is BLACK - as in the photo above.
