| Chris Melia\'s Mono \"Raiders of the lost Arc\" Hi Guys
after quite some time I am now starting on my Monocoque, I have just had her powdercoated ready for assembly. I will have two bodies for her, 1: the original alloy panels from AMR GT 2 and 2: a new lightweight fibreglass set of panels from my own moulds.
I am not posting hear for debate on what I am doing, so please if you wish to comment on my build please post else where on the forum as I do not wish to dilute the content of my thread.
regards
Chris Melia. |

| Re: Chris Melia\'s Mono \"Raiders of the lost Arc\" Building a mono takes a lot of effort to collect and assemble all the correct pieces. The car is made up as you will know of many sub assemblies, each assembly comprising of many parts. I have concentrated on the sub assemblies and over the next few weeks I will post photo's and comment.
I had to get the seats remade and through a friend I was lucky enough to find the guy that made the seats back in the 60's for FAV, unfortunately these are the last set of seats he will make as sadly he passed away just after he finished them. |
