Im going to pick up my new chassis this weekend.
Cant wait to join you all in your builds.
It will be a fitting culmination to 13 months of hunting
down and aquiring my original parts collection.
Will post photos soon.

Andy.

Congratulations Andy, but mirage = new superperformance chassis, or other company?

Andy -

You sly fox! During all our conversations you never even hinted it's a Mirage you're working on. Awesome!

Looking forward to seeing your progress - if I can be of help to you with any missing components, don't hesitate to get in touch.

Best,

T.

Olivier,
Its a monocoque chassis, built by Mirage Automotive,
based in the south of England.

Tim,
Im afraid its not a 'Mirage' as such, thats the company's name.
Sorry to disappoint you.

Thanks Guys for all the encouragement,
Im like a kid at christmas, i dont know where to start on the project first !
Now ive got a flavour of what so many have gone through before,
when theyve taken delivery.
If anyone is seriously interested in aquiring one of these chassis,
in the first instance, please PM me for contact details.

Very nice Andy, I bet you had a few sleepness nights over the weekend. ;)
Now the real fun begins !!

Can't wait to see the build thread evolve for this, as you don't see many mono builds.

Damn nice...are you using the FRP spider or getting a steel unit? The parts and welds look great. Real quality work.....I assume you paid slighty more than my standard opening offer of a buck-one-eighty?

And don't let anyone rag on you about this chassis, it is ahead of mine (non-existant) and probably better than 99% of them out there...
