Tornado mk1 carbonmono

Hi Everyone my name is Abraham
took delivery of my tornado mk1 carbon mono
on 11 of may 2013 thought it was time to start a build log

Sounds really good and I'll be reading your build log too. Not that I can afford one mind you - Tornado are only down the road from me in Kiddie so I'm interested to see what their motor is like.

a few more did some extra paneling to cover the fuel filler pipes
got it on its wheels for the first time albeit only for a couple hrs while
i had a clean up and made a start on the brakes

What engine/gearbox combo are you going for?
 
Abraham, I like it, I like it,.... I hope you are not planning to drive as fast as you build. :lipsrsealed:

I would love to know more about your cable gear change system, is it an option from Tornado or elsewhere, can you post a few more pix of it? I am considering moving my hand brake back to allow for a future centre cable system.

The cable centre change system is a standard part available direct from Tornado.

You will need to move your handbrake rearwards 4" to allow space for the shifter unit.

Time for an update
James - sometimes i think i have bit too much fun and lose track of time done a few unintentional late nights lol

David - going for the 5l coyote and un1 box

got quite a few things done brakes and clutch lines are all done
engine and gear box in fuel system done had to re run gear linkage
modified the engine control wiring loom ran the ac and heater hoses mounted ac rad and heater/ac unit under dash

time for a little update after the summer holls just getting back in to it
got the body roughly fitted all heating and cooling pipes done
ecu mounted not sure if the location is best down near the ac compresor but the only space i could find
also made a plate to mount the battery
