The importance of the right length of the headers/braking kits

Hi again!

I wonder how important the right length of the headers is for the engine performance....for example a ford 302? I have heard both stories and also have GTD headers mounted wich differ about 30 cm at most!

I´m now about to build a 180 degree - non corroded steel - with silencer/muffler.. It´s tricky because of the lack of space.....puuuh!

Is there any other brake kits than the willwood - that you just can bult on....?

Thank you!

Klout

Hi Klout,

Have a chat with Frank Catt at Wealden Engineering,he is currently fitting Hi-Spec callipers and discs to customers cars. As far as I am aware they work very well.

Re: The importance of the right length of the headers/braking kits

Hi Paul!

Thank you - for your advise!

What is the cost for such a kit? - is it available in kits like the willwood? - or does it demand a great effort in changing other things...?

If there is anyone out there having the willwood or the Hi-Spec or even other solutions - please send me your comprehension!

Thank you!
