| CAV #80 (Carroll Shelby car) for sale.
Due to some surgery to my spine I will be selling my CAV GT40.
The car was one of two that were built for Shelby American - this one, I was told, was given to Mr. Shelby on his 80th birthday - therefore the VIN being what it is.
It comes with two sets of wheels - the BRM's and Halibrands with Goodyear race rubber.
It has the updated rear A-Arms as well as updated gas caps.
The interior has red trim on the dash - the only car like it.
The MSO is available and is signed by Carroll Shelby.
The car is registered in California under SB100.
The engine is a Keith Craft 331 with Italian Webers, trans is a new ZF.
Due to my back condition I am not able to finish it - carpeting needs to be installed, the speedo is not hooked up and it needs a new oil pressure guage. (I did verify correct oil pressure with a mechanical gauge, btw)
The car has about 80 miles on it.
