Murrey - Good luck with the lottery, give me a call when you are in the area and if I am about your welcome to come and have a drool!

Car will be competing at Gurston Down near Salisbury on Sunday 22nd June and Longleat on the 28th if you want to come and support the GT40's and Vipers there will be several!

I didn't know there was a GT40 so close to my old home town of Chippenham. I visit there quite regularly, but only once so far in my GT40 (MDA). Would love to compare notes sometime and when you have sold yours and need a "40 fix" give me a call, I don't need much of an excuse to climb in and head for the country.

Chris - Whenever you are in the area let me know, it would be great to meet up with a fellow GT40 owner - you never know I may just take you up on your kind offer one day!

We are off to St Goueno, France for their hill climb at the beginning of August, so if there are any GT40 fans in the Brittany area come and watch the fun!

Julian

Several people have contacted me to see if I am interested in a swap for the car, well no not really, however I could be interested in a part exchange for a classic or WHY/ up to circa 50% of the value.

Thanks for looking
J.

Car will be competing at the Brighton Speed trials on the 13th September and again the following day at Gurston Down all being well!

As its getting towards the end of season the price for this awsome beast has been slashed to an eye watering (for me!)

£39,995

Got to be fantastic value - you could pay that sort of money for the engine alone!

Far easier to make this into a superb air conditioned road car (if thats what you really want), than to make a standard car in to a race car of this specification!

Time to raid the piggy bank - perhaps!

See you at Brighton 13th or Gurston 14th Sept!!!

Julian, You are going to have to be very careful at Brighton so as not to damage your car and put off potential buyers. Race engines can be quite quirky and tempremental at the best of times. Suggest you go really slow........:) See you at Brighton!

Even being careful at Brighton we did quite well - dont you think!

Quite interesting that the good old GT40's could show well sorted new Ford GT's as well as Ferrari F40's and F50's a clean pair of heals - woopeee!!!

Sadly your gear selection issues no doubt detracted from your day - bad luck!

Here's looking forward to next season already!

You did damnably well Julian, most impressive. A good advert for the car too! Been talking with Mick and we have talked up an idea no one has tried before to solve the gear selection issues. Question is will we have the balls to try it out?

Interestingly I was in Belgium yesterday having a look at a BBM Le Mans car from 1972 era. They have exactly the same issue I have with a Porsche box. Guess I am not trying to reinvent the wheel here!

Noooooooo!

Was looking forward to seing her in action again in 2009..

Perhaps we can persuade you to come out to play in the Aston??

Or do you have another steed in mind?....

Yes I was sad to see her go - but as they say needs must!!!

Hoping to get the Aston engine sorted over the winter then we should be out in that or even perhaps a Corvette ZR1 I took in part exchange for Suzi ~ not sure what it would be like though???

See you soon
J.
