Personal commitments, business / travel requirements and impending re-location have meant that I am reluctantly offering my current RF GT40 project for sale.
The car has a certain history, which appealed to me. Being a very early chassis (RF12), I believe it was originally built in 1998. This was destined to be Robert Logan’s personal race car, and so he paid particular attention to it with respect to its design and integrity. He commissioned Ross Holder (ex V8 Supercar chassis designer for Gibson Motorsport) to “tweak” the chassis design to add a couple of improvements. Better suspension arms and pickups, some additional rigidity, air jack mounts, steering rack geometry, etc.
The rear of the chassis has been further modified to allow for fabrication of a deeper diffuser under the transaxle, and to move the rear chassis rail up under the rear clip. This car has the 10.5" deep dish BRM style knock on wheels on the rear, that will actually fit under the standard width (Mk 1) rear guards, with shortened driveshafts (std driveshafts supplied)

All new High Mis-alignment spacers for all rose joints and spherical bearings
