Road & Track GTD

Superb road & track spec GTD finished in midnight blue with twin white stripes. This GT40 was

professionally built and has covered less than 2000 miles from new. It's a dual purpose machine, having

the benefit of beutifully fitted alluminium panelling reflecting the style of the originals, multi point

roll cage, quick release front & rear body clips, removable side window vents, built in six nozzle fire

extinguisher system, bias brakes with six-pot callipers, Wealdon Engineering racing seats with six point

aircraft harnesses, electric high capacity water pump, digital MSD ignition system, powerful 347

"stroker" engine with full cross-over "STRAIGHT THROUGH" exhausts, AP racing clutch, uprated Chris Cole

UN1 gearbox with high "Le Mans" top gear, high capacity alloy radiator with twin electric fans, deep twin

nostril panel, fully adjustable rose-jointed suspension, blade adjustable rear anti roll bar, Spax coil

over adjustable dampers, Speed Demon 700 cfm Holley carb, removable Moto Lita "flocked"steering wheel,

digital speedo, Varley red top gel battery, 12v cut off switch, Explodsafe fuel tanks, high pressure

switchable sill-mounted fuel pumps, Aeroquip hoses, rear led rain light, Halibrand K/O style wheels and

new 215 & 295 Goodyear tyres, plus newly fitted lightweight air conditioning.

The spec of the engine is too much to list, but has been built by a professional V8 race engineer, with

steel stroker crank, forged pistons, baffled sump, trick cams etc, etc. This GT40 is soon to be put on

the rolling road and, once tuned, is expected to put out approx 450 bhp (dyno prints are to be made

available).

This superb GTD has full MOT, taxed and is registered as a "Ford" with 1965 registration number (FNA

51C).

THIS IS NOT a project GT40 and requires nothing but a new owner who will, no doubt, enjoy some reliable,

fast and LOUD GT40 motoring both on the road & track.

I've got some shots for you now. The car is due a complete respray in the next couple of weeks as it has some track rash, but I'm negotiable if you like it as is. Someone in my area is asking about possible purchase of a sorted GT40 and I want to show him your car. Thanks.
 
Engine specs here- 302 ford smallblock stroked to 347 ci, forged crank, forged H beam rods, main support, forged pistons, cnc ported avenger heads, special cam grind, roller lifters, ally roller rockers, canton baffled sump,CSR billet electric waterpump, speed demon 750cfm carb manual secondary, port matched inlet manifold, all fully balanced. 450BHP plus at the flywheel.
MSD digital 6 ignition, billet distributor mech advance, full crossover exhaust
