After almost 5 years I've come to the sad conclusion that I simply do not have the time or desire to build the car. This is a package deal that includes the original SLC Deluxe Plus kit, a new LS3 crate engine, and a refurbished Ricardo gearbox all purchased from RCR. All of the "extra" parts listed below are brand new in their original packaging. For someone looking to get into an SLC kit this is an excellent opportunity as most of the parts sourcing is done and you don’t have to wait to have RCR build your car! My asking price is $65,000. I'm not interested in trades.

PM me if interested.

What a shame you had to make that hard decision, Dave.

I'm sure it'll go quickly....I'd say "Good Luck", but I don't think you'll need luck to make the sale.

Re: Slc 007 for sale

Hello
I wish I would be in UK or any other nice country where homologation was possible to acquire from you this very nice group kit !!
The price is more than reasonable thinking to all time necessary to source every thing and get them on the same place !!!!
It's a shame there in France it's impossible at 100/100 to have it homologated to drive on normal road .
Hope you will find kickly an other home builder :worried:

Re: Slc 007 for sale

Here's an important part for anyone using an LS3 engine needing to reverse the intake. This is a new oil pressure sensor fitting from Katech that works with their valley cover and works without having to modify anything. Not inexpensive at $169.99!

Starter (Ford Racing) $667.35

Tilton 3 Chamber Brake/Clutch Remote Reservoir (also includes the stock Wilwood units) $92.65
Custom Chassis Number Plate $25.00
Tires Kumho ECSTA 285/35-ZR19, 245/40-ZR18 $1,028.00

Ramlift Install Kit (Braided Lines, Reservoir, etc.) $156.94
Wiper Motor (TMC Heavy Duty) $90.00
Modified Fuel Tank (to allow fitment of the Centroid fuel sender) $1,025.00

Total investment = $69,594.49

If the buyer prefers, I will install the engine and gearbox in the chassis (for shipment purposes only). The dash has been partially cut to fit and the DigiDash inset opened up to allow the unit to be mounted deeper in the dash. Openings for lights, glass, etc. have been cut out.

I hope this helps. If anyone has questions please ask and I'll do my best to answer them.

Dave L

Re: Slc 007 for sale

Wow...smoking deal. If anyone realizes how much time is spent just researching and ordering parts alone, it's worth it!

Re: Slc 007 for sale

I need to make a minor change to the parts specifications. A fellow SLC owner with a very high HP engine and a Ricardo gearbox asked if I would exchange the Stillen AP Racing clutch for his Ford Racing clutch - new, in the box. So, the kit will now come with the Ford GT clutch - which had a purchase price of $1,975. The Ford Racing clutch is more than adequate for the stock LS3.

Anyone looking at a new Stillen clutch the price has jumped to $3,759.50!

Re: Slc 007 for sale

Brief update - I've gone ahead and reversed the intake on the LS3 (see the build thread) using the Katech parts so that's one less task for a potential buyer. Once I receive the Ford Racing clutch I plan to install the flywheel and clutch, mate the Ricardo and LS3 and install them in the chassis.

I spent some time this weekend cleaning up the car, doing some re-assembly and trial fitting some parts. Here are some recent photos.

Dave L

Re: Slc 007 for sale

I've had someone ask about the wheels and seat covers. The wheels are new from a Corvette - gloss black, 5-spoke with a polished lip as shown. The seat covers are stock RCR, padded, with adhesive backed Velcro for fitting to the fiberglass shells. Please note that in the photo the seat cover is simply draped over the seat shell and not fully installed.

Dave L
