LMP1 Carbon Chassis

Cadillac Northstar LeMans Prototype Chassis. Built by Riley & Scott, this is chassis number LMP-00-002, which ran in the 2000 ALMS and World Sports Car series. This chassis raced at Sebring, Barcelona, Monza, Silverstone, Spa and LeMans under the French DAMS (Driot-Arnoux Motorsport) team, headed by Jean-Paul Droit and Rene Arnoux.

The chassis is fitted with all front suspension mounting brackets, steering rack, gear lever, master cylinders, internal bulkheads, hard brake / clutch lines, fuel cell, engine bulkhead plate, and engine mounting studs. The chassis was crashed at the 2000 LeMans race, where an on-board fire has caused resin damage to a section of the skin on the left side. (Riley Technologies USA have confirmed the tub is structurally good and the skin repairable, as well as a local composites fabrication company). The fuel cell would need to be replaced, and could easily be used as a template to make another. Otherwise, brand new cells are available ex-USA. In fact, almost all of the parts required to complete this car are available, including all suspension components.

This chassis is from the same model that now forms RCR’s new LMP1 racer. The last picture is of LMP-00-002 racing (ran No.4 Motorola livery)

Price is AU$8000, and comes with a crate for shipping.

Located in Queensland, Australia. Happy to assist with shipping details.

Just realized I had a Visitor Message about this tub from late last year. Sorry Joe, let me know if you're still interested. Cheers, Troy

Are you building it or is it gameroom furniture? That would be a long way to go to have a realistic experience driving on the Playstation!

Welcome to the fourm, I'm collecting parts, I do hope to one day to do some historic racing.

I've got it inside because it's huge, my garage is full and I just love looking at it.

I had not thought of the Playstation possibilities.....
